Paraná Agribusiness Defense Agency - ADAPAR

The Paraná Agribusiness Defense Agency is an independent state agency under the Paraná State Department of Agriculture and Supply (SEAB). ADAPAR is incorporated under public law, retains its own equity and revenue and is endowed with administrative, financial and patrimonial autonomy.
Headquartered in the city of Curitiba and operating in the state of Paraná, ADAPAR aims to promote the regulation of agribusiness, carry out public health inspection of animal products and prevent, control and eradicate diseases and plagues that threaten animal and plant populations that are of economic or public health interest. It ensures the safety, conformity and quality of the raw materials used in agriculture and livestock production.
The agency’s organizational structure includes the levels of senior management, advisory council, executives and regional operations.
